The best saree Kuchu design- tatted saree Kuchhu

There are different ways to design saree kuchus.Saree kuch is a traditional decorative lace or tassel work that’s added to the edge of a saree’s pallu.There are so many beautiful styles of saree kuchu — each with its own flair. People really get creative with these!

Some of those are:

Beaded kuchu:

different kinds of beads are used in making saree kuchus.

Thread or tussel kuchu:

Silk embroidery threads are used to make tussels. This is the most traditional way of making Kuchu

Crochet kuchu:

Handmade crochet laces are used.

Readymade laces :

There are plenty of readymade laces are available in the market. Those can be attached to the pallu.

Tatted laces:

For me the best saree kuchus are the tatted ones. Using tatting we can make simple saree kuchus to very elegant bridal saree kuchus. This can be used to make saree kuchus with beads also. I have made one such saree kuchu for the saree I desgned with Kutch work.

I have used Anchor tkt 20 tatting threads, in pink and green t mathc the Kutch work design. I followed the pattern with overlapping reings. Here is the closer view:

In between I have used the beads also. Using beads and embellishments is the latest in saree kuch designs.
