Another tatted doily

I have started tatting dolies slowly. I was relctant tatting doilies. I always like to use tatting in dress design. also saree designs. Inspired by my friend tatters , I started making doilies. The first one is the rosette doily. I made 3-4 this kind of doily. I have started making many doilies. This one I started long back, 2 – 3 years ago. Bit completed now. I was carried away by other projects. 🙂

The pattern is from from tat-a-renda. I have huge respect for the designer. From past 10 years I am following her blog.

I have used shades of purple and yellow alternatively in this doily. I shouldn’t ahve used different brands, as the thicknes of the thread differs. Next time I will take care of that. 🙂
