Art Journal Front cover design – Mixed media
After a break from blogging, I am coming back with front cover design for an art journal. I have made few art journals. This front page design is for the junk journal I am making for my niece.
Here I have used the theme of window and wall theme.

Here I have used mixed media paste and stencils. I have used two stencils, one with the floral design and another the wall design. This is just to represent my theme, which depicts, this book is window to my thoughts. 🙂 After stenciling I have applied water colors on it. I have blended many bright colors together her.

I have used some chip board embellishments on this. The major one is the window and the next one is the wordings , “Making Memories”. Inside the window a small curtain also can be seen. Decorated the window side with flowers.
The junk journal is completely ready. I have to fix these front and back covers to that. Last year I had made a journal with laces. I will soon make a flip through video of this art journal too.
