Blouse design – Cast on stitch
I have used cast on stitch embroidery to design this blouse.
What is cast on stitch embroidery:
Cast on stitch embroidery is a type of hand embroidery technique that involves creating loops of thread on fabric to form decorative patterns, textures, or shapes. It’s called “cast on” because each loop is cast onto the fabric surface, creating a raised effect. This stitch can be used for various purposes in embroidery, including filling in areas, creating floral motifs, or adding texture to designs.
Here is the blouse I designed with cast on stitch:
The saree has all over embroidery in orange, green and brown shades. I have selected the similar colors. Cast on stitch embroidery can be used on its own or in combination with other stitches to create intricate and visually appealing designs. It’s a versatile stitch that can add depth, dimension, and texture to your embroidery projects, making them more visually interesting and dynamic. So I tried cast on stitch for this.
Here is the closer view:
I have embroidered rose and leaf , with vine design. On the neck and on the sleeves I have used this embroidery. This is how sleeves look:
Closer view of the embroidery:
Embroidery enhances blouse neck designs by adding beauty, detail, and individuality, making them more stylish and captivating. It’s a versatile embellishment technique that allows to express creativity and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the outfit.
