Buddha painting On Canvas
I had shared about this Buddha painting on canvas, in my previous post. This is the biggest canvas I have worked till now. I have started learning acrylic painting from Shri Rajesh Anand , who is well known in the field of arts, especially acrylic painting. My journey of learning acrylic painting started with Buddha painting.
I have attended three workshops conducted by Shri Rajesh Anand. I don’t say I have learnt much, but every workshop was a learning experience. Different techniques I learnt in acrylic painting. In the next workshop also I made Buddha painting. But that was Buddha statue painting. I could not do much in that painting, because the getting the metal effect was very difficult. Our teacher completely worked on that. I have shared the experience of the workshop already in this blog.
This time I chose to paint on a bigger canvas. This is 4X5 ft in size. This is the first time I ever worked on such a big painting. This time too Shri Rajesh Anand helped me a lot to complete the painting within 3-4 days.
Here is the painting :
It has only the face of Buddha. And the entire painting is painted using only shades of blue. I was stunned the way he achieved the line effect on the entire painting.
We tried clicking the photo, outside. Here is the click:
Though I am not confident of painting on such huge canvas, I have tried my level best to learn techniques, though Shri Rajesh Anand has done major works. In the next workshop I will be learning more techniques of acrylic painting. So I will choose simple ones.
