Clay art – Ballerina dancer
This is a clay art, which is done on back side of the stretched canvas. Here the clay used is air dry clay. Air dry clay is a popular choice for clay art because it does not require a kiln or special equipment for firing. Air dry clay is excellent for sculpting small figurines, animals, or abstract shapes. You can use simple tools like toothpicks, wooden skewers, or even your fingers to shape the clay.
Here it is :
The techniue involves decoupage too. The Ballerina dancer picture is stuck on the backside of the stretched canvas, after applying the background colors.
Then the clay is rolled into thin sheet. On that , stamps, textured rollers are used to create patterns and designs on the surface of the clay before it dries. This technique can add visual interest to your clay art projects. On the frame too I have glued clay sheets after giving texture to it using rollers.
Once the clay dries, we can apply acrycilc colors on the clay. Here is the closer view of the dress and the clay art.
I have attached a lace which I had in my stash to enhance the beauty of the dress.Lace has long been associated with elegance and sophistication. Incorporating lace into a dress can elevate its overall aesthetic, giving it a more refined and classy look.
Some readymade flowers are attached on the dress and on the hair.
This can be hanged on the wall or kept in a showcase or on table as home decor.I will share a tutorial of this soon.
Until then,
