Decorating a handbag with tatted lace

There are several ways of decorating a handbag and purse. I have tried decoupage on purse. The outcome was good. The tutorial for the same I have shared on my YouTube channel too. We can use crochet too.  Recently I had redesigned a handbag with tatted motif and lace. One of my friends liked it , so she requested to design same kind of handbag for her.

I had shared about this handbag in WIP post. Though I thought this redesign would take less time, but it took 2-3 days to decide on thread color. I chose blue for this handbag, and made a motif too. But as the thread was very old, the color started bleeding. So I had to change the color scheme again and made different one.

I have attached the motif at the center and attached small flower shaped kundans.

All around the edges I have attached the tatted lace. It is looking really elegant. My camera has not captured the elegancy of the handbag decoration. I need to really take some training in clicking photos  🙂
