Design Of The Week – Kasuti Gopura motif

I have shared in recent post, that I am learning Kasuti embroidery. This design in part of the learning. I have learnt basics of Kasuti from a teacher. Now practicing on my own. Gopura designs in Kasuti is very well known, and most used ones. I have tried one such Gopura design.

This same motif , I will be using in one of my sarees, which I am going to start soon. I am so excited to start Kasuti work in saree designing and dress designing. It might take too much time of mine, because it is an intricate embroidery. I will share all my experiences and experiments  with Kasuti with you.
