Design of the week – Simple Kutchwork border
Her, I am sharing Kutchwork border, simple one.

The design
This includes very basic motifs of Kutchwork. This can be embroidered with single color thread , or motifs and the square with different color threads. I have used two colors for the motifs and different color for the border.

Embroidered
I have used , Anchor skeins for this work. I like to use cotton threads for the Kutchwork, because it gives the perfect filling interlacing look. You can see this in the closer view.
Closer view of the motif:

Closer view of the motif. The interlacing looks good with cotton thread.
For the outline, I have used chain stitch in Anchor thread in 6 strands.
This design of Kutchwork border can be used for saree, Kurti or duppatta. Kutchwork is little complicated embroidery. To learn this you can view the video tutorial.
