Design of the week – small floral design for embroidery

This is a small floral design for embroidery. I have tried this with two kinds of stitches.

The below one is embroidered with long and short stitches. And the stem is embroidered with stem stitch.

With long and short stitch

I know long and short stich looks good on broader areas. Still I tried this.

The same design I tried with herringbone stitch and stem stitch.

With herringbone stitch

Herringbone looks good for this. These kind of floral designs for embroidery, are good with herringbone stitch. The stem is embroidered with stem stitch.

Now we can compare both the designs. In my view herringbone stitch looks good. What do you opine?
