Design of the week- Small Mandala embroidery

Mandala embroidery is new trend now. I have shared few madala designs for fabric painting. Mandala is a religious symbol of Hindus. This has become a art form now. I have drawn some mandala on canvas papers too. It is really relaxing and soothing to draw and color mandalas.

Looking its popularity, I have drawn a small mandala embroidery design. Here is the design:

I have tried this design with zardozi , here is how it looks.

This can be used on a saree as motif.

I have tried the same design using cotton thread embroidery. I have used simple stitched here using , Anchor threads.

This also can be used as motifs on saree.
