Envelope designs using distress ink technique
Like decoupage, distress ink techniques are also my favourite paper craft. I have used it for envelope making majorly, also for designing my art journal. This is fun to play with the distress ink creating many designs, there is no end for designing. As out imagination flows, the distress ink helps to put those imagination on paper. Last week I made some envelope designs, using distress ink techniques. Sharing the same with you.
Five envelopes I designed. Among those, two are using butterfly designs.
In these two, I have colored the base with distress ink technique. On that used butterfly stamp. Both have similar designs. The difference is I used different kinds of embellishments.
In the below ones, I used flower and leaf theme.
Here too, the base is designed with distress ink technique, and used leaf stamps. On both different types of leaves. To match with the leaf design, used floral embellishments.
This one is different, I have used lace techniques here.
Though I have used distress ink for the base, the design is covered by the stamps I used :(. After stamping I used the lace on the edges and Washi tapes. And of course some embellishments.
After many days, I tried distress ink technique. I am planning to make one more journal using distress ink. I have shared the video tour of the art journal I made. Excited to start the year with making of journal :).
