Glass painting tutorial

There are many glass painting tutorial, but in this tutorial I am sharing, the process I follow while making a glass painting. I had learnt glass painting long back, but learnt it properly, when I attended a glass painting tutorial 4 years ago. Sharing some shading techniques I learnt.

When it comes for glass painting , I use Pabeo glass paints. If you are starting to learn glass painting, then my advice is to start with brands like  Camel or Fevicryl glass painting. There are kits available for glass painting in the market. Because pabeo glass painting colors are very expensive. Once you get hold of the skill, then you can paint with pabeo colors. I like the finishing the pabeo glass paint.

Outliners are also available in different brands and colors. I have chosen here pabeo gold color. The amount was not sufficient for this glass painting tutorial. So I am using another brand also, for this glass painting.

Tutorial now :

First clean the glass with nail polish remover, you can clean with water.

Then place the glass on the design, and draw outline the design.

Start painting :

Let the painting dry for sometime. Once it dries, start filling the design.

You can use shading wherever required. Here is the completed painting.

You can make it one your own. Try with small designs, and once you are confident you can try big designs. Here is the video tutorial for the same.
