Handmade clock with quilling
Quilling, also known as paper filigree, is an intricate and delicate art form that involves rolling, shaping, and gluing thin strips of paper into decorative designs. Quilling can be used to make many, like greeting cards, wall art, mandala art, clock etc. Here I have made a clock using quilling.
Quilling is a versatile art form that allows for the creation of intricate and beautiful designs. Here are some inspiring examples:
Floral Designs: Artists often craft detailed flowers using quilling techniques, showcasing the art’s potential for delicate and vibrant creations.
Animal Portraits: Quilled representations of animals, such as elephants, demonstrate the art’s ability to capture complex forms and textures.
Abstract Patterns: Quilling can be used to create intricate abstract designs, highlighting the artist’s creativity and the medium’s flexibility.
3D Models: Some artists take quilling to the next level by constructing three-dimensional models, adding depth and dimension to their work
Long back I had used quilling to make rakhis and cards.
The clock I made uses techniques of making flowers, leaves using quilling strips and arranging those.
Here is the closer view of the arrangements of the flowers:

I have made some more flowers to make a photo frame. I will share once it is made.
Until then,
