Happy mother’s day
In my opinion, everyday is mother’s day. But sill most of us do not wish our mothers , everyday. I feel everyday we need to wish mother. Mother is the only person who loves us in this world, unconditionally. Genuine love, sacrifice and care , what we get from mother is priceless. So everyday we need to wish her.
I lost my mother 3 years ago. I never thought I would be missing her so much. People say the grief fades with time. But it is not. Everyday I miss her. She was the one who taught me stitching and embroidery. I had shared about her cross stitch project, which she had handed over to me to finish. Still I am doing that.
Coming back to this card, I have used distress ink technique, embossing, stenciling and embellishments.
The materials used
I have used floral theme. The base is iris paper, and I used distress ink for stenciling. The stencil too floral stencil. I have attached embossed frames layer by layer, to give 3D effect. An flowers as bouquet to mother, with a wish written on that. I was feeling , something is missing.So attached the lemon color lace on the side, just as highlight.
