How Patachitras are painted?- A video narration.
Patachitra, always amazes me. I never get satisfied by looking its intricacy and the beauty. The more I see these Patachitras, the more I get astonished, by how the artist creates the whole scene with engraved fine lines. These are really pride of Orissa. This art has transformed. It was a ritual art used in Puri Jannath temple. Now it used as home decors. Even artists have transformed it to meet the need of today’s art lovers.
