How to screen print with many colors- Tutorial
Screen print is always my favourite while designing and redesigning sarees and dresses. It is very easy. I have shares many tutorials on my blog about “How to screen print“. In this post sharing how to screen print with more than two colors, on light colored as well as dark colored fabric.
Materials required
- Place the wooden plank or sheet:

2. Mix binder 2-3 spoons, pigment as per requirement and 2-3 drops of fixer. Stir it well. Prepare at least two colors.

3. Place the fabric on the wooden plank, and on top of that place the fabric where the design to be printed.

4. Now pour the color with spoon, on the frame as shown in the image.

5. Now pull the color down the design, with a flat squeezer.

6. Slowly remove the frame or screen.

Screen printing on light colored fabric:
Materials required for screen printing on dark colored fabric are:
Normal binder
Fixer
Pigments
Spatula
Screen with design
Fabric on which the design to be printed, cups to mix color, stirrer , wooden plank
For light colored fabric, screen printing procedure is same , but here instead of Khadi binder, normal binder is used. Here are the motifs screen printed on light colored fabric:

The screen printing technique is very useful in redesigning or renewing a saree. This can be used along the border of a saree too. I have shared the video of this tutorial on my youtube channel .
