International Tatters’ Day
Happy International Tatters’ day for all the tatters on this globe. I know most of the world is going through pandemic, and locked down. Wishing all the tatters , ” Happy tatters day”. This art has kept me sail through the boredom of lock down period.
Tatting :
Tatting is an European art of making lace .. This needs a shuttle and thread.
I had learnt this 20 years ago . I have shared, struggles I have undergone , while learning for the first time.I have designed many dresses and sarees using this art. Last week I had shared , the neck design using tatting.
Happy to share some more tatting works, on International Tatter’s day:
This is a tatted collar. I have used it for design salwar neck.
The next one is lace made using Lizbeth thread.
I have made a motif to match the lace and attached it to the backside of the Kurta
Clser view of the Kurta, I have attached small beads.
On these days of lock down, we can’t celebrate Tatters’day. So I am tatting more . Planning to tat a doily too. Soon will share the doily I make with you.
Keep safe, and
Love, Laugh and Live the life to the fullest,
