Karakuri – Book review
Karakuri art originates from Karakuri ningyōwhich are traditional Japanese mechanical puppets dating back to the Edo period (17th–19th century). These puppets were designed with intricate wooden gears and levers, allowing them to perform lifelike movements such as serving tea, shooting arrows, or dancing.
