Pot painting – Egyptian art design
In pot painting we can experiment many arts. I had started pot painting 15 years back with ceramic art. I tried my hands in decoupage and sopesso art too. This time learnt pot painting with Egyptian art design.
This is paintied with acrylica paint:

Egyptian art is a timeless testament to the culture’s deep spirituality, symbolism, and mastery of form. Its beauty lies in its balance, harmony, and rich storytelling.
Why I chose Egyptian art design:
The colors used in Egyptian paintings—deep blues, reds, golds, and greens—were made from minerals and have remained vibrant even after thousands of years. This lasting brilliance adds to the enchantment of Egyptian murals and tomb paintings.Using Egyptian art in home decor adds a sense of elegance, mysticism, and timeless beauty. Many believe that Egyptian symbols, like scarabs (good luck) and the Eye of Horus (protection), bring positive energy into a home. Statues of gods like Bastet (goddess of home and protection) can also serve as spiritual decor.
What I have used to paint:
Here I have used acrylic paints. The main design is traced on the pot first and then the detailings are painted. After completion, varnish is applied. Here is the closer view of the design.

The back side of the pot is also painted with different design.
