Sculptural painting – my first attempt
This is my first attempt in sculptural painting. I used to browse about this art and see the beautiful creations by several artists for hours. It is just mesmerizing to see those images. Though I had made some jewels using the same techniques, I was not satisfied with that. So learned making big project. This is peony flowers in sculptural painting.
The painting
It was wonderful learning this art. This is somewhat like art meditation. I just lost myself while learning this art. The photo is not doing justice to the beauty of the painting. So I am sharing One more photo of this sculptural painting.

The base is painted first with the paste, then on the dries surface, the flowers are made using special pallets, specially used for sculptural painting.

This is just the beginning. I am planning to learn all kinds of the flowers, which are taught.
This week I am travelling to attend a marriage. I will start posting from next week, including my travel story :).
