Some saree kuchu designs

In this post sharing some saree kuchu designs , I made recently. Saree kuchus are in trend now. Normally saree kuchus are made using silk threads and crochet.  I have used many different techniques to make the kuchus.

Simple saree kuchu design:

This one is simple saree kuchu made using silk thread. I have used single color silk thread here which matches with the saree. Contrast colored silk threads can also be used.

The below one is saree kuchu made with threads with two colors. Here I have used threads in two colors, which are in saree.

Tatted saree kuchu designs:

This is a machine embroidered kasuti saree. For this I have attached tatted lace as a saree kuchu. The lace is made using cone thread, matching with the embroidered designs on the saree.

This is floral print saree, for this also I have used tatted lace as the saree kuchu. The threads are matching with the floral colors on the saree.

Crochet saree kuchu designs:

On this saree , I have done embroidery in kamlakadai. For this I have made a saree kuchu with crochet , with the same colored thread of the embroidery.

Lace saree Kuchu designs:

I have designed two sarees with laces. Both are Garden Vareli floral print sarees. On both I have attached the white laces. To match the laces, the saree kuchus are also made using laces.

This one is lace with hangings. And on the below one, I have used same lace, what I have attached on the saree. In between I have attached the kuchus made of silk threads.

Hope these will give you an idea for your creativity. While making saree kuchu, it is better to consider the saree color, designs and the prints on the saree.
