Tatted collar on dress
Here is another dress with tatted collar. I have used tatting for dress design saree designs etc. I love to use tatting for dress design.Tatting adds a layer of intricate, handcrafted detailing to a dress. The fine, lace-like patterns can create a sense of sophistication and femininity, making the dress appear more refined and luxurious. Also the texture of tatted lace contrasts beautifully with smooth fabrics like silk or satin, adding visual interest. This contrast can make the dress stand out and feel more dynamic.

The dress color combination was really challenging to me. I thought of using purple shade thread. But when I actually made the lace, it was not going well with the dress. Then I tried with mustard and orange combination. But I was not satisfied. Finally I chose mustard yellow color.
On the neck I have used vintage pattern. This is part of the big lace. I am planning to make the big lace also. On the neck I have attached the lace. Here is the closer view:

On the sleeves I have used another vintage pattern lace made in the same color.

Tatting can be incorporated into dress design in several creative and versatile ways, adding a unique touch of elegance and intricacy to garments.I am designing one more dress with tatted lace and motifs. I will share in the coming posts.
