Tatted lace for a t shirt

Tatting has been my companion for years. I learnt tatting 20 years ago. Tatting has been my favourite after hand embroidery. Recently I have designed a long dress with tatting, all over tatted motifs and a big motif behind. Recently I have started a saree border using tatting lace. Here is the tatted lace for a t shirt, I completed.

I had started with red rose brand, number 20 thread.

For tatting a collar

The thread I had selected as contrast to the t shirt. But the thread quality was not so good. The smaller lace is made using same red rose brand thread in number 20. That thread quality is good. I was just wondering in the same brand , the thread quality differs depending on the color. This happens with Anchor too.

There are some parts of the designs I have gone wrong. So this lace is not so neat. Same lace I am making in different color. Soon to share some more arts and crafts with you. Keep visiting my blog.
