Tatted lace for blouse design
I just finished attaching a lace to a sree blouse. This is a new pattern I tried , which I got from pintrest.
Here is the finshed work :
Tatting is a beautiful and delicate lace-making technique that can add intricate details to a saree blouse design. It involves creating knots and loops with thread to form lace patterns, which can be used to embellish the neckline, sleeves, or borders of the blouse. Here are a few design ideas for incorporating tatting into a saree blouse:
1. Tatted Neckline:
- A tatted lace design around the neckline can create a graceful, vintage look.
- Floral motifs or geometric patterns, dependingy style.
2. Sleeve Edges:
- Small, delicate tatting lace can be added to the edges of the sleeves, giving a detailed and intricate look.
- For short sleeves, the sleeves can be extended attaching tatted lace, which I have done on this dress.
3. Back Neckline:
- A deep or keyhole back blouse with tatting lace framing the cutout will add sophistication and charm.
- A big motif can be tatted and placed on the back of highneck blouse.
The saree is light green or turquoise is color. The blose is stitched with contrast floral design print fabric. On the edges of the fabric join, I have attached the lace.
This is giving a unique look to the blouse. Similarly I had designed two more blouses, one with lace and motifs, another with lace oon sleeves and on neckline.
