Tatted motif design
This is one more tatted motif I tried. The last one was similar.
Here is the motif I tried:
The design is taken from pintrest. After tatting, I realized this is Chritmas tree pattern. Frankly speaking, I haven’t enjoyed much tatting this. I must have selected two contrast color threads.
I have clicked one more photo of this tatted motif, with different background.
There are several kinds of tatting motifs can be made. That includes
- Flowers
- Daisy: Simple rings and chains arranged to form a daisy pattern.
- Rose: More complex with layered petals.
- Tulip: Shaped to mimic the structure of a tulip flower.
- Snowflakes
- Simple Snowflake: Basic geometric pattern with six points.
- Starburst Snowflake: More intricate, with additional layers and points.
- Butterflies
- Basic Butterfly: Made with a few rings and chains.
- Detailed Butterfly: Includes antennae and more detailed wing patterns.
- Hearts
- Simple Heart: A small and easy-to-tat motif.
- Lace Heart: More complex with multiple layers of rings and chains.
- Geometric Shapes
- Circles: Basic rings arranged in a circular pattern.
- Squares: Created by connecting rings and chains in a square shape.
- Triangles: Simple triangular motifs that can be combined to create larger designs
I am going to try most of these, in my tatting journey. I have already started making some doilies. This tatted motif will go into my tatting journal.
Because of tatting I am not able to do any embroidery. So starting this week with my embroidery projects. I will soon share some embroidery designs.
Until then,
