Trendy Handmade Rakhis- Video Tutorial

This year Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on 15th of August. I always make handmade rakhis to send my brothers and cousins. Is started with making rakhis of Polymer clay, in the year 2016. Then it continued next year with Soutache threads. Last year I made Rakhis using Foamiran flowers. This year made Rakhis using stamping techniques. I had shared about my art journal using stamping and distress ink technique.

Handmade Rakhi-Tutorial:

Here is , how to make these trendy rakhis. As this involves stamping , the materials required are,

1. Flower stamp

2. Distress Ink

3. Archival ink

4. Iris paper

5. Glitters

6. Glossy ascent.

Steps:

1. Select the floral stamp

2. Apply archival ink on that

3. Place it on an iris paper and press it with heavy slab:

5. Cut the impression of the flowers

6. Apply distress ink on applicator

7. Apply  the distress ink on the flower moving in circular manner

8. Give shape to the petals using a brush or pencil

9. Place the petals one above the other and glue it.

11. Apply glossy ascent

12. Sprinkle glitters

Sprinkle the glitter powder

Attach the string to tie
