Varamahalakshmi pooja- Decorations
Varamahalakshmi pooja , is the festival well known in South India, as I know even it is celebrated in the Southern parts of Maharashtra too. This is celebrated on second Friday of Shravana( Hindu calendar Month). In Bengaluru and Mysore region , the celebration is very grand. People shop a lot for this festival. The saree shops and the jewellery shops will be tightly packed with customers, especially ladies. :). This is also known as “festival of women”.
On , Varamahalakshmi pooja day, married women, perform pooja of Goddess Lakshmi and invite other married women and give them some gifts. The idols of Goddess Lakshmi will be placed in a decorated place. Last year also I had shared about such Varamahalakshmi decoration ideas. This year also I was invited by some of my friends. Here I am sharing the Varamahakashmi decoration ideas.
