Work In Progress on Wednesday- Bottle art -Decoupage

Many of my DIY projects are pending. Deepavali season. So making some gifts for dear ones. Diya’s are the best gifts, but last year I had gifted Diyas(lamps) . So this time , have chosen to give something unique. So those are getting ready.

Few weeks ago, I had shared about an old Kanchi saree border I had.

Saree and the border

This is from my mother’s saree. So emotional attachment. I have designed a saree with this border, combining with some cloths I have. Here is the border design:

In most of the sarees I designed, I have used dark colors.  But in this saree, I have used pastel colors. Something different , isn’t it?
