Work In Progress On Wednesday – Embroidery On Saree

Starting embroidery on sarees this week again. Many sarees I have embroidered and recently completed embroidery works on a saree , one such was with feather stitch, which I gifted to a friend. Now starting embroidery on two sarees, one with Kasuti stitch. First time I am embroidering with Kasuti stitch. So I have selected very simple design, all along the border and simple motifs on the saree.

I have completed Kamalkari  embroidery on a saree. This took lot of time to complete.

This saree has Kmalkari motifs all over the saree and on the pallu ,

I have used cone thread and kundans.

For this saree, I will make a crochet kucchu, so this is also WIP this week.
