What is Kerala Mural painting?
If you don’t know about Kerala Mural painting,
Kerala mural, also known as Kerala temple art, is a form of traditional mural painting that originated in the southern state of Kerala, India. It is a unique artistic style characterized by its intricate details, vibrant colors, and storytelling elements. Kerala murals are typically found in Hindu temples and palaces in Kerala and are known for their religious and mythological themes.
Themes and Subjects: Kerala murals predominantly depict mythological stories and legends from Hindu epics such as the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas. The artwork often focuses on deities like Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Goddess Saraswati, and various other gods and goddesses. The murals also portray scenes from daily life, nature, and royal court settings.
I am mainly interested to learning Indian traditional painting. Recently I have shared about Pichwai painting.I am learning One more Pichwai painting soon.
