Work In Progress On Wednesday – Kutchwork , Tatting and Decoupage

This week again I have taken up Kutchwork  embroidery. I am obsessed with Kutchwork.This is the 4th saree I am embroidering with Kutchwork. The design is traced, and these are simple motifs, all over the saree. I need to choose thread colors for this.

Next work, I am starting this week is tatting. I am making a tatted lace for a T- shirt. I have already made one, and has shared previous week. This is for my niece, and the color of the top, made it very difficult to choose the color of the thread. I didn’t want to choose the traditional colors white or black. So after lot of mix match exercise , I have chosen light green color.

For tatting a collar

Another work is decoupage on a wooden box. On this box I am using lace for decoupage. Already I have tried this technique, I want to share tutorial with you. So again using lace for decoupage.
