Work In Progress On Wednesday- Ribbon Embroidery on Canvas

Lots of projects are going on and I’m learning many arts and crafts. This week’s Work In Progress is Ribbon Embroidery on canvas. I love embroidery , but never tried the ribbon embroidery. Normally I use embroidery to design dresses and sarees. Ribbon embroidery doesn’t suit my choice.

Trying ribbon embroidery on canvas attracted me. Here is the first look of the work.

This may not be looking proper now, still lot of work is pending. Soon will share the completed work.

In the previous Work in progress post I had shared about crochet jewels. I have made a Jhumka , using fabric stiffener and crochet doily.  Here is the jhumka I made:
