Work In Progress On Wednesday – Saree design with Banarasi border

I have few old saree borders. I have picked one such border and designing a saree with that Banarasi border.

The fabric and the border

The border is from an old saree, it is in dark brown color. For this I have chosen a fabric with all over self embroidery. I will be attaching one more small border along this border.  I love this color, which is called as “kanakambara ” , color in my native language Kannada.

I will share once the saree is designed.
