Work In Progress On Wednesday- Saree design with Patchwork

I had visited Shriramapura cotton market in Bangalore last week. I had some ideas like patchwork, designing a saree with pearls etc. Also I have some lace, to buy matching fabrics  those lace, I visited the market. I bought some fabrics to design saree according to my ideas. This time when I visited the market, I bought the fabrics very cautiously. Visited many shops and bought the fabrics.

This week will be designing the sarees with the fabrics I bought. The below one is plain raw silk saree.

For the plain raw silk, I will cut the flowers from the below fabric and do patchwork.

The below one is cotton, I ‘m attaching the lace to as border.

This one is for the pearl motifs and lace I have.

The next one for the cut work embroidery. Already the design is traced. Shall start working on this.

Last week I had shared about the envelopes I’m making. I could make only two envelopes. In the below one I have used distress ink techniques with stamping and embellishments.
