Work In Progress On Wednesday- Saree redesign again
Saree redesign has become part of my life now 🙂 . I am getting one or the other saree to redesign. Sometime my friends and family members give their saree t o redesign. But this saree redesign is for myself. This saree is very old and it is not silk. But I loved the border. I am using only the border to design a saree. The material I have chosen in Uppada silk.
Saree and the board
The saree border is with Krishna and Yashoda weaving on it. Is not beautiful? I am actually experimenting with this. Very tensed also. Because it is my favourite border. I have kept it for a long , to design it exclusively.
Meanwhile I have finished working on Tholu Bommalata clock, which I had shared in WIP post. This has come out very well and I enjoyed learning this.

Tholu bommalata is an art of making leather puppets. Now the art is used in home decoration.
