Work In Progress On Wednesday – Tatting lace for Saree
I am already making tatting lace for a saree. That’s is not completed yet, I got tempted by the color of another kora silk saree and the threads I have to match with it. So starting another tatting lace for saree.

I will be making a small lace along the border and small motifs for all over the saree.
Deepavali is in few days. I am making some gift items and envelopes for gifting purpose. I have bought some beautiful pattern papers and wooden trays. I will use decoupage technique for the tray.

Meanwhile I completed making one more lace for dress neck design. This design is from Pinterest, The thread used are from Anchor tkt 20 size.

The pink thread is nearly 20 years old. Still the thread is so good , loved tatting with it. I love tatting. But sewing the tatted thread or motif on a fabric is really tedious and I hate that.
My friend had gifted me these motifs and neck design for a dress. This is also beautiful. I have completed sewing the tatted lace on the dress, stitched for it.

This is a very unique design, the mall motifs are sewed inside the big motif.
For Deepavali celebration I am making many home decors. I will share the tutorials in coming posts.
