Work In Progress – Saree design with old saree border
This week I have taken up another saree for designing. This saree I am designing with old saree border. I like the saree border so much that , I don’t want to discard it. Here it is :
Renewing a saree
You can see it has a beautiful weaving of Krishna and Yashodha on border. I will use this old saree border and design another saree. I have chosen contrast fabric in Uppada silk to redesign the saree.
I have need some gifts for various occasions. Decoupage home decors are the best ones to gift somebody. I have some wooden boxes and key holder. I will be decoupaging these.

I have completed attaching Banaras borders to a saree, which I has shared in previous WIPs. You can have a look of that.

The fabric is jute like silk with zari and sequins embroidery all over.
The saree designed
This too is saree design with old saree border.
The another one is Chanderi silk cotton, and on that I have attached an embroidered small border. And here I have used small zardozi motifs.
