Works In Progress On Wednesday- Quilt Making

I always love quilt making. I have made many quilts with patchwork , embroidery and painting. Quilt is a beautiful gift  for kids. For many newborn kids I have gifted handmade quilts. Recently I haven’t made any quilt. I have some beautiful printed cotton fabrics. Cotton fabrics are the best for quilt making for kids.

Fabrics I have chosen

These two fabrics I will be using. One has butterfly prints and another floral prints. A perfect combination for making quilt. I have some patches of butterfly design.

I want to use these in between the quilt. I haven’t decided the design of the quilt, in my mind square piece design is bubbling. Square piece quilt will be easy to make , so :).

I have finished making the tatting lace for edge of a saree, about which I had shared in previous WIPs. I need to attach that to the saree and make similar lace for blouse. I will share about those in coming posts, next week.
