Works In Progress- Saree design with embroidered lace

Saree design is always in my works in progress list 🙂 . Designing saree with lace is very easy and the design also looks very elegant. Varieties of laces available in the market, satisfying each one’s taste. I have designed many sarees with readymade laces. In market zari laces are also available. One such saree I designed with zari lace came out very nice.

I have two embroidered laces, for one I have selected a saree:

I am not using any kind of motifs or embroidery on the body. Instead I will be designing a blouse for this saree.

Another one is with rose embroidered. For that I have chosen satin silk saree:

The lace looks like parsi  gara style border.

I have an old saree, with parsi embroidery. I am planning to redesign that with proper fabric. I will share about that in coming week.
