World Art Day 2021
Today is celebrated as World Art Day. This is the day chosen to celebrate fine arts. Today is Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday.
In my life arts and crafts are playing major roles. Without arts and crafts, my life would have become boring, or not so interesting. I have been learning different arts and crafts, from my childhood. The journey started with embroidery. Then crochet, sewing , tatting and so on. Though I was doing a bit of painting, but never learnt so much. But I found many good teachers to learn painting , when I shifted to Bengaluru. I have learnt many forms of painting , traditional , contemporary and abstract.
I was not at all interested in paper craft, until I learnt distress ink and stamping. But.But now I am crazy about paper craft. Recently I started working on art journals too. Made these two cards using alcohol ink techniques and distress in technique this week.

Everyday, I am in to arts and crafts. I am lucky to learn many arts and crafts from finest teachers. Today I have started learning acrylic painting on canvas.
